A je tu první den Mistrovství. Program je opravdu nabitý - ráno v 7:15 vážení paliva na odpolední ekonomickou disciplínu Rychlostní trojúhelníka maximální vzdálenost s návratem, pak v 9:00 briefing, v 10:00 slavnostní zahajovací ceremoniál a pak už vlastní první závodní task.
Vážení proběhlo poměrně hladce a svižně.
Na briefingu upřesnil ředitel proceduru prvního tasku, ve 12:30 budou vytištěné mapy, plnění strojů bude od 13:30, okno pro start v libovolném pořadí od 14:00 do 17:00
Při slavnostním zahájení nastoupili všichni učastníci na plochu před hangárem. Díky tomu, že zde probíhají souběžně vlastěn dvě mistrovství - jednak to "naše" a jednak Mistrovství světa ultralightů, je na ploše opravdu plno. Uvítací řeč k závodníkům pronesl starosta i zástupce FAI.
Další organizaci komplikují technické problémy a tak je vše, počínaje předáním map odloženo o hodinu, pouze konec tasku zůstává beze změny v 19:30.
Plnění strojů bylo ze začátku jeden velký chaos, protože maršálům chyběly patřičné instrukce ale vše se dalo poměrně svižně do pohybu a chvíli po třetí hodině odstartovali první závodníci mezi nimi i naši Zdeněk Řezníček a Michal Loužecký. Krátce po ních pak i všichni ostatní z naší výpravy.
Závodníci mají za úkol obletět co nejrychleji zadaný trojúhelníka po jeho dokončení letět co nejdál podél zadané přímky.Nejvzdálenější dosažený bod je potom určen podle místa, kde svým letem překříží tuto přímku. S ohledem na bezpečnost pilotů je provoz podél této přímky předem definovaný jako pravostranný - tzn, že piloti musí letět vždy vpravo od přímky.
Smůlu měl Zdeněk Andrlík, který se díky propálenému pístu musel vrátit pěšky. Ostatní úspěšně doletěli do přstávacího decku a s napětím čekají na výsledky.
